Should I upgrade to 12gb of ram?
Hey, I’m currently using 6gb of ram in my computer. My computer is actual self-homemade (bought parts off newegg and built it). Antec 900 with msi 58x mother board and i7 processor. And I’m using windows xp 64bit.
I’m wondering if I should stick 3more 2gb rams in it. But should I really use 12gb of ram? I do a lot of gaming. I also use adobe programs (photoshop,flash,etc). And I also use Firefox (WHICH EATS A LOT OF RAM)!!! also, what would be a good Cas Latency for it?
I also plan on upgrading to windows 7 when its retail release hits!

With gaming, 12 gb of ram isn’t a bad thing, although it might be pricey. From personal experience, I found that adobe products tend to use a lot of ram, and If you’re upgrading to 7, 12 gb of ram will definitely help.
