What is the difference between “Adobe Photoshop CS2″ and “Upgrade from Photoshop (Any Version)”?
I am trying to get Adobe Photoshop CS2 from Amazon.com.
There are two different prices in there:
Adobe Photoshop CS2 is $590.00
Adobe Photoshop CS2 Upgrade from Photoshop (Any version) is $150.00
What are the differences between these two products?

The upgrade is not a full version of the software. It requires that you have an existing version of Photoshop installed in order to use it.
If this is your first purchase of Photoshop, buy the full version.
BTW–if you are a student or teacher, you may be able to find an Academic version of the software for a lower price. Do a search for “academic version photoshop CS2″ and you can find pricing. The Academic version has the same functionality as the regular retail version, but it is priced more affordably for teachers and students. You will probably have to show proof of your student or teacher status (such as a school ID) to buy an Academic version.
