Is it possible to use PC version of a keycode to a Mac Version, Adobe?

I have bought Adobe Photoshop Cs4, for PC.
I have both Macintosh and PC, (now) and my Mac is better.
So I wonder, could I download Photoshop CS4 (Mac) and use my PC versions product key?
This wouldn’t break the lisence, and it is not illegal.
go ahead and try it, but i doubt it would work. Most popular software has separate key codes for different operating systems. You’ll probably have to ask adobe to switch to the mac version. They may give you the other version for free but they’ll probably charge you a little fee.
