Where can I download a free trial of Photoshop for Mac?
I tried the Adobe website, but their “free trial” downloads led me to a page where I sign up for e-mail notifications about new products.
Can someone please suggest a website where I can get a safe download of the trial version?

I couldn’t figure out how to actually download the trial.
You can still get this trial directly from Adobe.
Because of CS5′s imminent release (in early May, click here to be notified of its release: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=product_notify ), you can no longer search Adobe’s site to dl the CS4 free trial. What you can do, however, is use the old link to the 30-day trial:
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en&product=photoshop
You will need to sign in with or create an Adobe account to download the trial.
UPDATE (04.30.10): As of today you can now download CS5. Clicking the link above will take you to the CS5 trial now.
