Cable Release for DSLR?
Within a year I will be buying a digital SLR. Now if I put my super zoom Sony's tripod, there is no gap because I think it is called release cable, where the shutter is pressed and is responsible for relaxation. Today makes a DSLR to use a cable release or what? Is there a screw hole for the cable release on today's DSLR?
The Nikon D100 has a real hole in the cable release trigger. Since then I have been using a remote switch that connects to the D200, D300 and D3 of the MC-30. Some of the entry level DSLR is to use a remote IR, like its distance from the TV, but they seem to suffer because you have to stand in front and sideways to make it work.
