Does Linux Mint Linux distribution stop giving updates at Any Time or for ever be updated?
I am currently using Linux Mint Elyssa and I wondered if the lack of updates would be a security risk. Thank you.
Ubuntu Linux Mint has at its base, to end support for Linux Mint While 5 LTS Ubuntu Linux 8.04 LTS releases of Mint and end of life (support) dates https: / / wiki.ubuntu.com / Linux Mint 5 LTS (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS) April Linux Mint 2011 6 (Ubuntu 8.10) Linux Mint 7 April 2010 (Ubuntu 9.04) in October 2010 After these dates, Linux Mint will continue to work very well, but security updates cease. I still have Ubuntu 7.04 on a spare computer and support ended in October 2008 without a problem LUG.
