What is the best large Megapixel Digital camera with the lens to buy the best quality and resolution.?
I have used film cameras all my life and I am fond of Leica 35mm photograph, also Nikon. I have read the online reviews of digital cameras and want to make the jump to digital soon. The image quality is my top priority. Do not want to spend 4 or 5 km, but is considered a mid-priced to 2K or so. What do you recommend for image quality pure? I am expert in Photoshop and am able to interpret and improve images. power zoom lens is not of much interest to me. I am looking for a goal that has clearly the contrast and the focus of a glass lens 35 mm camera. Thank you.
I'm a little unclear whether you are looking for a digital SLR camera (with interchangeable lenses) or something more like a P & S. Anyway, I would start by looking at the different sites that offer reviews and forums (I'm partial, but others have dpreview their own favs). Then I think in places like pbase.com to see what people have taken with your camera (s) that interests you Finally, I go to a professional level photo store and try the cameras. At least get an idea of sensation in the hand and the viewfinder and control layout. Many also rent for the days of week. Dslr but I thought that the clarification of the sound of P & S. Thus, from the digital SLR: As I think you have two real options – Nikon and Canon. If you have any favorite Nikon glass in your closet, then you really should go nikon. Given his background, I would like to start by looking at the D200 (just out now). Looks like a great package of features and promises a much larger viewer that it is in the D70s (my only real complaint in the chamber). I could go on and on about their options in the Nikon glass – my favorite is the 70-200 vr f2.8 50mm f1.8, but the goal is worth $ 100. The D70s can also be worth a look, but I would pass on the D100 (quite old) and D2X (and expensive). I think you will see the D200 is a backup camera for many professional shooting the D2X. BTW, almost any Nikon lens with a CPU chip probably will not have any problem in a digital SLR. The lenses do not chip works, but often this significant restrictions. One thing to remember – The crop factor. As the sensor is physically smaller than 35mm, the Nikon has a crop factor of 1.5. It refers to a field of view is actually 70-200 105mm to 300mm. Very cool on the tele end, a kind of sucks in w / a purpose. The Canon 20 D is a very nice camera. The Rebel XT is much, but I especially like dslr feeling. In the price range, you can make almost anyone who is not.
