Please help-lost the drivers and utilities disk for my laptop?
Hi I was wandering if someone could help me. I was just using a test version of Windows 7 on my laptop and went off tonight to realize that I have the drivers and utilities from the CD that comes with the laptop to take back to the conditions of purchase of the store. I lost my wireless interent capabilities and all I had on my laptop. Does anyone know what I can do? I would very much appreciate! I told him how silly it was and not listening in on your part! At the time they have tried in the F4 screen and see if it goes back to factory default and see if it works that way. First, two questions. Did you do a set of recovery disks recovery partition which is in the drive the first time you got your laptop? Usually called the D: drive. Did you install Windows 7 on a partition or a complete installation is, formatted the Hard Drive? If the answer is no, no and yes, then I fear that unless filled Remove Windows OS 7 to consider again what it was. Take a look at the Add and Remove Programs in Control Panel. If there is an option to remove it, as most programs are beta, then use that will bring you back to its Vista operating system or whatever. If not, then as I said you're stuffed. You have to take your laptop to where you come from or, if this is is possible in a repair shop and get reinstall the entire operating system and all drivers. Be prepared to pay at least a couple of hundred pounds more for the privilege. Take this as a lesson learned hard Never install a Beta or RC operating system without having to read the full documentation on it beforehand.
