How I can get my camera to work without having to buy another memory card?
I bought a 1GB memory card for my Sony 3.1 makes almost a year because I am a fervent photographer.It has worked well until recently when it began to show a memory card error.I took the stick and pushed in.That worked again for a while then I got a error.I format worked in the format of the error then I C1301 or something. A photographer friend erased the memory and saved the photos to your laptop.He transferred to a jump drive (or something) and loaded in my computer.I am very grateful but the camera still does not work.He you may have a virus and may have a new memory stick.He put one on one, but I have yet changed the batteries error.We memory too. Nothing. Does anyone have any idea about what I can do now? I need a digital camera handy for the Blues (King) herons, gulls, sea snakes in the Atlantic, Pacific and rain of flowers gold with inimitable fragrance.Please help me!
You do not mention if you format the card while the camera. But if not, you should. However, Based on your description, I think the card or the card slot is dirty. Look at the metal contacts on the end of the card and cleaned all the dirt. Then cans get a dust blower and off the camera slot. Does your card work in the card reader on your computer to your friend? If so, then the problem is probably in the slot of the camera. Good luck
