Mac Photoshop Elements 6 – Won’t Install?
I have installed a trial version of Photoshop Elements 6 on my G5 iMac which ran perfectly. Rather than pay silly money for the full version through Adobe, I purchased a new sealed version 6 for the Mac off Amazon which was half the price.
But it won’t install and throws up the error message
Critical errors were found in setup
– Incompatible payloads already installed
Please see the Setup log file for details
I have moved the trial version to the trash and restarted but still get this. Any ideas on how to completely remove the trial version?
Please help as it’s urgent!
Return the pack to Amazon and ask for your money back. Then download the GIMP for free from the web and use that.
It also happens to be superior to PS, as well as costing nothing – unless you’d like to send them a small donation once you see how good it is…
