Is this a good graphics card?
NVIDIA® GeForce® G210M GPU (256MB VRAM). It is on the sony vaio CW series. I currently have a Toshiba that is only 3 years old and it already died once. I need a new computer that can handle the requirements of my majors.
I will be running Adobe Photoshop Cs4, illustrator cs4, indesign cs4, possibly fireworks and dreamweaver as well. Not to mention I like to do gaming such as the sims.
The Sony Vaio CCW190 upgradeable version has everything required and then some for pretty cheap I am just curious as to how good that graphics card is.
I don’t want personal opinions about the brand itself I have checked out all the others and sony is the cheapest for what I need.

apparently there is also a 512MB dedicated RAM option it is just out of stock right now, but would that be sufficient to run my programs?
Nvidia is a good stable card. Although I will say thats not alot of onboard ram for the programs you want to run. Best case is to have a bare mim. of 512, or better 1 gig ddr. 256, man I just wouldn’t want to say yes, without knowing the cpu speed and amount of ram being on that laptop.
