Can I use Adobe After Effects to make a home video look more like a TV show of the final product?
Can I use Adobe After Effect Pro 7 to make a home video product look more like a Hollywood ending? And if so, how?
Not sure about After Effects, but it is not necessary for the program to make a home-video look more like a high-quality video cinema. First, my apologies if you are an advanced user and I know I have to say. If you are, say that this is home for all newcomers to video that are reading this:) Well, the first to make the video more like to the films is the aspect ratio. This means that the difference between the picture on a screen as a "place" or a broad range of screen. I always I grasp my projects in widescreen mode. Test your camera, I'm pretty sure you will find the option to change to shoot in widescreen mode. If you do not have that option, here's a cheat. Using Video Editing software to apply a matte box. Remember this little trick: most programs video editing will let you flip the video in reverse, which means you can shoot your Video Upside Down (perhaps hanging from the ceiling to make the shot smoother) and then change your video editor. Another tip is to control the camera angles. If you notice, many of the home videos are shot in the torso or head all the time. That looks videoish home. Try different things like zoom before you shoot and shoot some close, sometimes the camera is above height of the head, sometimes below, you know, be creative with your angles. And the most important advice (I think) is doing a good sound. The sound is more challenging the determining factor in the definition between the home and film-worthy. Try to cut as much background noise, microphones used to obtain clear voices if they are talking parts and add a nice subtle sound effects to create an atmosphere and environment belieivable. Even if the public does not see a highway (or spaceport, or rainforest, etc. Etc.) You can put a whole metropolis behind his house to hear him doing that. If you listen, what they are there.
